情報科教育法Ⅰ

情報科の教員免許を取るためには春と秋に行われる情報科教育法Ⅰ・Ⅱを履修しなければならない。今回はその最初の授業、まずはガイダンスに出席した。
湘南藤沢中高の田辺先生が講義をしてくれるのだが、先生とは昨年の夏に一度訪ねて情報科教育に関してお話を伺ったことがあり、そのことも覚えていただいていた。
2003年から始まった教科であるためにまだまだ模索状態ではあるが、今年度はすべての高等学校で情報科教育が何らかの形で行われることになる年である。高等学校の情報科の授業で伝えるべきものは何なのかを常に追求していかなければいけないと思った。
とりわけ情報科の教員を養成するために数学や理科、工業、商業などの免許をもった教師を中心に高校が研修を行ったことは考えるべき問題であるという意見には賛成だ。それは「情報=コンピュータ」というような安易な発想であるとともに、理系が教えるべきというような偏った見方しかしていない。田辺先生もおっしゃっていたが、国語や社会、英語科の教師などが情報を教えるとなるととても興味深い授業を行うことができるという。僕はそのような複合的な効果を期待できると考えているが、現在の採用試験を見てみると、情報科の教員試験を受験するには数学や工業、商業などの免許も取得していないと全く受け付けてももらえない。これは何ともおかしなことである。一ヶ月の研修で情報科の免許を取る教師よりも、情報科の教師を目指しトレーニングしてきた物のほうが質の高い授業ができるのではないだろうか。
田辺先生は明言を避けていたが、僕は情報科はすべての教科にまたがった範囲で授業を位置づけてもよいと考えている。よって様々な分野と掛け合わせることを積極的にやっていくべきだ。
総合政策学は複眼的な学問であるのだ。
